About
Why Soloblog
Most people who want their own blog end up with a choice they don't love. Hosted platforms are easy, but the site isn't really yours: their rules, their ads, their newsletter business. Running your own usually means a developer's tools and a weekend of setup.
Soloblog sits in between: a personal site that's easy and good-looking, and still fully yours. It's made for one person - not teams, not companies - and it stays that way.
Who makes it
Soloblog is made by ZRPlus Studio. It's free and open source under the MIT licence: anyone can use it, change it and run it, for free, for good.
The code, the guides and the plans for what comes next are all public on GitHub.
How it's paid for
The setup and care plans and sponsors keep Soloblog going. Some links in the deployment guide are referral links, clearly marked - they cost you nothing extra.
